Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns in compliance with regulations.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and management with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, audits, and reports for internal review.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to update employee data and compensation details.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs related to payroll.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Paychex, or BambooHR).
- Strong working knowledge of FLSA regulations, payroll tax laws, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to detect and correct errors.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
