Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including FICA, FUTA, and withholding requirements
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments with precision
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/year-end tax filings (Forms 941, 940, W-2)
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies through audit trails and employee verification
- Maintain confidential employee records and ensure data integrity in HRIS systems
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes and policy updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with ADP or similar platforms
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll reporting tools
- Deep understanding of FLSA, FMLA, and state labor laws in Ohio
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Proven track record of zero-error payroll cycles and audit compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
