Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for over 500 employees using ADP Workforce Now or similar software.
- Calculate and verify hours worked, deductions, and net pay with high accuracy.
- Prepare, distribute, and archive monthly paystubs and year-end W-2 forms.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding pay and deductions.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and reconcile payroll bank accounts.
- Assist with year-end reporting and audits as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in payroll management software (ADP, QuickBooks, or Ceridian) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of FLSA laws and tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.
