Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using [Company Payroll Software] to ensure accuracy.
- Calculate and process commissions, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns with the IRS and state agencies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, tax documents (W-2s/W-4s), and time-off balances.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and personnel files.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of payroll general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to improve payroll processes and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar administrative finance role.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll) is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of FLSA regulations, wage and hour laws, and payroll tax compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
