Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including tax forms, W-2s, and I-9s.
- Reconcile payroll bank accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with year-end tax filings and government reporting requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll deductions, time off, and pay rates.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (FLSA).
- Collaborate with the HR team to update employee data and timekeeping records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks Payroll).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and exceptional data entry accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
