Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using ADP or Ceridian systems.
- Verify time sheets, leave requests, and manual payroll adjustments for accuracy.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and financial data.
- Prepare and distribute pay stubs, W-2s, and 1099s in compliance with IRS and state regulations.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees with patience and professionalism.
- Assist in the reconciliation of payroll tax liabilities and year-end filings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing or an accounting department.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and payroll software.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Familiarity with FLSA regulations and Nebraska state payroll laws.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
