Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (AZ, FLSA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Prepare and file payroll tax forms (941s, W-2s, state quarterly reports)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Support HR with new hire onboarding and payroll documentation
- Maintain confidential employee records per SOX requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience (ADP proficiency required)
- Deep knowledge of AZ labor laws and federal tax regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and HRIS systems
- Proven ability to manage high-volume deadlines with zero errors
- PHR or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration
