Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify time records and reconcile discrepancies with department managers
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for accounting and HR teams
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within SLA targets
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts monthly
- Support year-end tax filing and W-2 distribution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of CA labor laws and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to meet deadlines in high-volume environments
