Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate garnishments, deductions, and tax withholdings across 5 states
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and external auditors
- Maintain compliance with federal/state labor laws and FLSA requirements
- Onboard new hires and update payroll records in HRIS system
- Respond to payroll inquiries within SLA timeframe
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll software proficiency
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, AZ state labor laws, and IRS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Proven track record of zero-error payroll cycles
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee data
