Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for over 250 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Calculate and verify gross pay, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll reports, including tax filings and garnishments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS system.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from staff and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to FLSA regulations and state labor laws.
- Assist with year-end tax reporting and W-2 preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related accounting field.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks) is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors quickly.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines during month-end close.
