Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll cycles accurately and timely for 200+ employees
- Manage tax filings, wage garnishments, and deductions across jurisdictions
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through detailed auditing and reconciliation
- Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations (FLSA, FICA, MO DOR)
- Generate payroll reports for CFO and HR leadership
- Onboard new employees with payroll setup and documentation
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and leave tracking
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll systems
- Expertise in MO/WKS tax filing and wage laws
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- PHR or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record of 100% audit compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
