Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles for 500+ patient accounts using Epic EMR
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials with 95%+ accuracy
- Conduct monthly revenue cycle analysis and variance reporting
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge accuracy
- Implement process improvements reducing AR days by 15%
- Audit billing codes for CPT/IC-10 compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years medical billing experience with commercial/managed payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Expertise in Epic Resolute and DenialX software
- Advanced knowledge of CMS-1500 and UB-04 forms
- Proven track record reducing claim denial rates
- Strong analytical skills with Excel/Power BI proficiency
