Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll cycles for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify and reconcile timesheet data with HR systems and department heads
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax filings (Form 941, state unemployment)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and compliance with wage laws
- Generate payroll reports for CFO and external auditors
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries within SLAs
- Maintain confidential payroll records in compliance with SOX requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll software
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or PHR certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and Texas labor regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in transactions
- Ability to prioritize deadlines in high-volume payroll cycles
