Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify time records and resolve discrepancies with department managers
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Prepare and distribute year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and maintain accurate records
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism
- Assist in implementing new payroll technologies and processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP or comparable payroll software
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, CA labor laws, and tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
