Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our clients.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Transaction Management: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices efficiently and accurately.
- Payroll Assistance: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll records and tax filings as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized, up-to-date, and accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients to clarify account details and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a part-time capacity.
