Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and on time.
- Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, including the Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet.
- Bookkeeping Software: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel to maintain and update client ledgers.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records comply with federal and state regulations and company policies.
- Banking & Payroll: Handle bank deposits, monthly payroll processing support, and expense tracking.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work part-time hours with the option for occasional remote work.
