Responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring all invoices are paid and bills are collected on time.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports for clients.
- Process payroll and manage employee timekeeping records with precision.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for tax documents and financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax documents and financial audits as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
