Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
