Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the month-end close process and assist with tax preparation support.
- Manage and organize financial documentation and digital records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or FreshBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial reporting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week).
