Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15-20 clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Assist with tax document preparation and quarterly filings
- Implement QuickBooks optimization and troubleshoot system issues
- Conduct periodic internal audits and compliance checks
- Support month-end closing processes and variance analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table expertise
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Proven experience with multi-client accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
