Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process and invoice bills, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
- Assist with year-end audits and financial reviews as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
