Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process and invoice payments, ensuring timely and accurate posting.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Assist the finance team with tax preparation and auditing requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
