Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts using accounting software.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts.
- Prepare and organize financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the annual audit preparation process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
