Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for assigned clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with quarterly tax preparations and year-end audits
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for client workflows
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
