Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, bank reconciliations, and financial statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and tax documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for transaction recording and analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Support month-end closing procedures and audits
- Communicate financial insights to clients and team members
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) preferred
