Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wages for tax withholdings, benefits, and deductions
- Verify time records and reconcile discrepancies with department heads
- Generate payroll reports and maintain compliance with federal/state labor laws
- Administer 401(k) enrollments and perform annual payroll audits
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with clear, confidential communication
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of CA wage/hour laws and multi-state payroll compliance
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in payment processing
- Ability to handle confidential data with utmost discretion
