Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for assigned clients
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reports using QuickBooks Online
- Assist with sales tax filings and quarterly compliance documentation
- Implement internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity
- Collaborate with senior accountants on month-end closing procedures
- Provide exceptional client communication and support
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly desirable
- Clear communication skills for client interactions
