Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines
- Prepare financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Manage payroll processing for 15-20 employees bi-weekly
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems
- Assist with sales tax filings and quarterly tax preparations
- Provide financial insights during monthly client reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- CPA or QuickBooks certification preferred
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client management skills
