Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor invoices
- Prepare financial statements and quarterly reports
- Utilize QuickBooks for transaction entry and payroll processing
- Assist with sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Support month-end closing procedures and audits
- Collaborate with clients on financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or relevant field
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent attention to detail and error detection abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with construction or retail accounting preferred
