Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and VAT returns
- Manage payroll processing and HMRC submissions
- Assist with year-end accounts audits and tax filings
- Implement financial controls to ensure compliance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping (minimum 2 years)
- Proficiency in Xero/QuickBooks and Excel
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- UK tax and regulatory knowledge
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
