Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Xero
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Prepare VAT returns and quarterly financial reports
- Manage payroll processing for 15 employees
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Provide financial data analysis for management decisions
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper (3+ years)
- AAT Level 3/4 certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero software
- Strong Excel skills with pivot table expertise
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
