Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, ensuring all regulatory compliance standards are met.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by answering inquiries regarding accounts, products, and services.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend appropriate financial products such as CDs, savings accounts, or credit cards.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain the lobby and teller line areas to ensure a welcoming and organized environment for all visitors.
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate customer records and documentation within the bank's secure systems.
- Adhere to strict bank security policies and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; previous banking or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong mathematical aptitude with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Must be trustworthy, reliable, and possess a high level of integrity.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch needs.
