Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documents.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and filing requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be available to work a set schedule of 20-25 hours per week.
