Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 8-12 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis with actionable insights
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client strategy and financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with small/mid-sized businesses
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll processing, and tax compliance
