Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements and general ledger entries.
- Assist with payroll processing and preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Review and process expense reports and invoices with a focus on compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and financial schedules.
- Utilize accounting software to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
