Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Monitor and maintain accurate daily journal entries and general ledger accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Reconciliation: Perform timely bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and track accounts receivable aging.
- Compliance: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Support budget preparation and provide financial analysis to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks or Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is essential; experience with NetSuite or SAP is a plus.
- Certifications: CPA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory for this role.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and high ethical standards.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
