Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
- Payroll Support: Assist with the preparation of payroll records and ensure tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries, and reviewing financial data for errors.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for management review.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a part-time or consulting capacity.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
