Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and monthly financial statements
- Process bi-weekly payroll and manage tax filings
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports for client decision-making
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll processing
- Knowledge of sales tax and payroll tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
