Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks and proprietary accounting software
- Prepare accurate financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain organized financial records
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Communicate financial insights to clients through clear, concise reports
- Collaborate with senior accountants on tax preparation and audit support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- CPA certification or actively pursuing preferred
