Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial statements and account reconciliations for 15+ client portfolios
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy threshold
- Prepare quarterly tax filings and sales/use tax compliance documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
- Assist with audits and internal controls implementation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and NY State financial regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of part-time/full-time accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of NY tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven financial accuracy record
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
