Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions including invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement and maintain internal controls for payment processing
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on payment terms optimization
- Manage 1099 vendor compliance and tax documentation
- Analyze AP data for process improvement opportunities
- Lead month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing vendor relationships and payment negotiations
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
