Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with precision
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing processes and journal entries
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Maintain organized financial records in QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with team on budget variance analysis
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Texas-based experience with sales/use tax compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
