Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Maintain QuickBooks databases with updated transactions
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 50+ employees
- Assist with audits and compliance documentation
- Generate financial reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks and MS Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot tables)
- Proficiency with GAAP and Maryland tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Advanced problem-solving skills for discrepancies
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Part-time availability (20-30 hrs/week)
