We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry Level Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing finance team in the heart of Houston, Texas. Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness in a timely manner.
- Match purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to ensure 100% accuracy before payment.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions in the company’s ERP system (SAP/NetSuite).
- Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address queries.
- Prepare monthly reports and assist in the month-end close process.
- Assist in the audit preparation and provide supporting documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role is a plus, but not required for this entry-level position.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions.
