Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients
- Prepare and file federal/state tax returns quarterly
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Implement QuickBooks optimization strategies
- Provide financial consulting to improve cash flow
- Assist with audits and IRS inquiries
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping/tax prep experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables/VLOOKUP
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Excellent communication and client management skills
