Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with CA labor regulations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with audits
- Support tax preparation and filing for individual and corporate clients
- Implement accounting software solutions (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Provide financial consulting to small business clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and California tax laws
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
