**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to maintain financial integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns, year-end accounts, and corporation tax computations.
- Process payroll for multiple entities, ensuring all statutory deductions are correctly applied.
- Conduct monthly financial reviews and generate management accounts for review.
- Ensure compliance with current UK accounting standards and HMRC regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or AAT (Level 4 or above).
- Proven experience in a similar part-time or full-time accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
