Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets and profit/loss reports
- Process payroll, VAT returns, and tax compliance documentation
- Conduct thorough reconciliations for bank accounts, ledgers, and financial instruments
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for strategic planning
- Collaborate with auditors during financial examinations and compliance reviews
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial risk management
Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and financial modeling capabilities
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
