Responsibilities
- Manage monthly bookkeeping and reconciliation for SME clients
- Prepare management accounts and financial statements
- Handle VAT returns and HMRC correspondence
- Assist with year-end audits and tax compliance
- Provide financial analysis and reporting insights
- Collaborate with senior accountants on complex projects
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero software
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Xero/QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
