Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring UK GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process payroll efficiently
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in budget preparation processes
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and ensure regulatory adherence
- Utilize Xero and QuickBooks for financial reporting and data analysis
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with 2+ years experience
- Proven expertise in UK accounting standards and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to numerical accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines
- Experience with multi-currency transactions preferred
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
